Hi everyone 🙂

Saying goodbye to everyone at Timion, JBay, the mission house hosts, and Africa as a whole has been hard. I am very happy to be moving forward in the Race, but I am sad to leave Africa.

The last day of ministry at Timion was bitter-sweet! We had a tender time of worship, and then everyone had an opportunity to share how these past two months had impacted them. Everyone at Timion had very kind words, grateful hearts, and encouragement for us, and my team and our parents shared how much the ministry inspired us and how grateful we were for the deep relationships built. It was a very special moment full of emotions and thankfulness. Then the Timion group split up and prayed over each person on my team. It was so encouraging and powerful!! Saying goodbye and hugging for the last time was difficult, but I walked away feeling like all of us were stronger after the last two months, and I am so thankful for that. The Lord can do so much in two months.

Working with Timion was such an incredible opportunity.

Here are a few things I learned these past two months:

  • Always start your day with worship and prayer (especially at work or with colleagues)!!!!!!

WHY? Because it will literally change everything. Worship and prayer is so powerful. Timion trusts the Lord so well. They do not fear, they give it all to God in prayer and worship Him through everything. Any time you’re stressed, pray about it, give it to God, praise Him, and walk in His peace.

  • I enjoy processing out loud.
  • A lot about God’s original design!
  • The process of growing natural fruit is such a good comparison to growing spiritual fruit. With that being said, preparing the group, plating seeds, the seed dying, watering, waiting, taking root, growing, and eventually harvesting can be a painful and long process, BUT it is necessary.
  • The power of grace
  • !!The gift of choice!!
  • Gardens are very restful places for me.
  • I learned how to trust God to fight for me.

The Lord did a deep work in me throughout the last two months. I had some very fun adventures, learned a lot about myself, learned a lot about the Lord, and made some incredible relationships. I truly fell in love with the people in JBay and Africa. I hope the Lord calls me back with my family some day! 🙂

Ecuador update coming tomorrow!

Praying that you all have space to process and see how the Lord is working in your life.

I love you all, and so does He!
