Hello everyone!

My entire squad is now headed to Ecuador! (As of right now…I feel like every time I post an update something changes ;))

The Risk Assessment team and my leaders have decided it is best if my squad does not go to Romania. They were afraid that they would have had to remove us from the field right after arrival because of the unpredictable war.

This last week has been quite the roller coaster, but I am honestly so grateful. This process was not in vain. When we were informed that we had to make the decision between Ecuador and Romania, I watched every single member on my squad go to the Lord first. We didn’t talk to each other and make a group a decision. We didn’t even tell each other where we had chosen to go until everyone had made their decision. I saw many people choose the country they did not want to because the Lord asked them to go. Friends, teams, and leaders were going to split. Honestly, this process showed me how mature my squad is. It showed that we truly aren’t here to have a good time, but we are here in full pursuit of the Lord.

Some may argue that the ones who were led to go to Romania did not hear the Lord correctly.

I disagree.

I believe the Lord worked so much in this. I think of Genesis 22 when God asks Abraham to sacrifice his son. The Lord was testing him. God simply wanted Abraham’s full yes, and I believe this situation was similar.

I asked myself questions like:

Am I willing to die for Christ?

Am I willing to live for Him?

Does He truly have my full yes?

I was able to fully process these things and truly give the Lord my full yes. Although I was sad to hear that we would not be going to Romania, I was so grateful for that experience. Through it the Lord prepared me to go wherever He calls me. I felt something roar to life in me, and I refuse to let that die.

Thank you all for keeping up with me! Sorry it is bit confusing 😉
