Hello Everyone!

Oh Boot Camp. What a needed experience. Last week I spent 5 days in Georgia meeting my squad mates and leaders, experiencing a taste of what life will be like in the fall, and learning to lean on Jesus like never before.

To be completely honest with you, this was a very stretching time for me. I immediately fell in love with my squad and leaders, and truthfully, I didn’t mind sleeping in my tent or taking bucket showers; however, I longed for home. I really missed my family, and the reality of being away from them for nine months hit me painfully hard. When I would get overwhelmed I learned to stop, clear my mind and ask myself, “What fear am I in agreement with? What does Jesus say about this? And…even if the worst thing happened…is Jesus worth it?” In doing this Jesus silenced the voice of the enemy, built a firm foundation of truths I can stand on, and He cultivated my heart posture to be in total surrender and partnership with Him! The enemy tried his best to knock me off my feet, but Jesus surrounded me, and He reminded me of who He is:

He is good.

He is loving.

He is in control.

He is my friend.

He is my protector.

He is the giver of peace.

He is my savior.

AND

He is completely trustworthy.

Jesus is so kind…every time I panicked…He gently reminded me that He called me here, He has me, He has my family, He has Cael, He is in complete control, He is for me, and ultimately I can trust Him with everything.

I am confident that this is exactly what God has called me to do. This season will be full of growth, and I can not wait to know more of Jesus!! I have surrendered because JESUS IS WORTH IT.

Praying blessings over all of you! I am so excited to share this journey with you!
